I’ve been running a SaaS tool for managing small local service bookings, and it started out pretty smooth with just one freelance developer handling the MVP. But now that the product is growing, I’m noticing more delays and rework whenever we try to add new features. It feels less like a coding issue and more like a coordination problem between tasks and decisions that were made earlier. While researching better team setups, I came across digis company and started wondering if moving to a dedicated development team would actually reduce this constant context switching, or if it just shifts the complexity somewhere else. Has anyone here seen a real difference after making that switch?

I don’t work in software development, but I’ve been following discussions like this because I’m interested in how projects evolve once they move beyond the early experimental stage. What stands out to me is that most people here aren’t really talking about coding itself, but about communication and continuity over time. I’ve seen similar dynamics in non-technical group projects where everything works fine at the beginning, but as soon as responsibilities increase, coordination becomes the main challenge rather than execution. It’s interesting how often stability seems to depend less on individual performance and more on whether the team can maintain shared context as the system grows.
