Three viewing trips, and we slept in the van for all of them
We have been looking for a small place in Spain for two years, and every single viewing trip we did from a van.
Moraira and the towns around it, three trips, eleven days total. Hotel prices in May are what they are, and the van meant we could park near a different beach each night and actually see what a street is like at six in the morning, which no viewing at two in the afternoon will ever tell you.
The listings came from https://alegria-realestate.com/ and the shortlist changed after every trip, because a place that looks quiet on a Tuesday is a different animal on a Saturday.
We sign in November. Question for the people here who travel long stretches: what do you do with the van once you have a fixed base in another country, keep it or sell it? We cannot decide.
