Was doing laundry at home in Charlotte when the washer suddenly stopped halfway. It still has power, but the drum just sits there with water inside and nothing moves. Not sure if I should try to reset it or if this is already a serious issue.

Sounds like something is blocking the drain or the pump isn’t kicking in. I’d start simple — unplug it for a few minutes, then check the filter and make sure nothing small like lint or coins is stuck inside. Also look at the hose behind it, sometimes it bends without notice. If it still freezes like that, don’t keep restarting it, just get an appliance repair technician near me to test it properly before anything gets worse.
