What’s That One Feature You Wish You’d Added During Construction?
When we built our place a few years back, I thought I covered everything, but now I realize I totally skipped on adding a mudroom. With two kids and a dog, the front hallway is constantly a mess — muddy shoes, wet coats, random sports gear. If I had thought about it earlier, I would’ve made space for a small entry with hooks and storage. Curious if anyone else has those “wish I’d done that” regrets after finishing construction?

It’s interesting to hear about your experience, I’ve seen similar situations in many projects where initial layouts don’t anticipate daily traffic flow, and that can create practical issues, the Constructability Review process really helps in identifying such conflicts early on, especially when planning storage and circulation spaces, taking the time to evaluate access points and material handling can prevent future headaches and ensure that designs are not only functional but also efficient in operation.
